Larry Lucio, Jr. of Amplified Life will be a featured artist in the documentary film “Latino Arts: A Community Vision” for his work as an artist and promoter of the arts.
When you watch the film, it is important to remember that no one person speaks for all Latinos, and no organization can or should suggest that they do either. Latinos represent a diverse population that spans the globe and the ages. You can see the intro to the film below. A portion of Larry’s feature segment appears at the 3:06 mark in the clip.
Sheila Regan of the Twin Cities Daily Planet wrote an article about the project and interviewed Larry and Rodrigo Sanchez-Chavarria of Palabristas at the film’s screening. The film debuted at The Neighborhood House on Thursday, Otober 28th, 2010 and will air November 7th at 8:00pm CST.
