This weekend I was contacted my Marcus J. Moore, a journalist from the Washington DC area, who writes for OkayPlayer, The Washington City Paper, Prefix Magazine and Potholes In My Blog.
* NOTE: Marcus asked me to extend an invitation to submit your music for review. For the artists from our community (MN), this is a chance to get visibility in a big market. To take him up on the offer, email your Media Kits or EPKs to: MarcusMoore.reporter@gmail.com
Marcus was doing research for an article he was writing about the DMV Awards Show (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) and had come across Amplified Life’s coverage of the abrupt finish to last year’s TC Hip Hop Awards (2010). Unfortunately something very similar happened at their awards show in Washington D.C. last week.
You can read the Washington City Paper’s complete coverage below, including his most recent article that contains segments of my interview with him, as well as comments from the TC Hip Hop Awards founder, David DEPth Powell.
Peace,
Larry Lucio, Jr. of Amplified Life
